After2AM editorial policy
The After2AM source archive is not the search publication list. Automated quality gates can flag duplicate candidates, prohibited promotion, metadata, and structural issues, but they do not establish accuracy, sources, authorship, or professional credentials.
Passing an automated gate creates a candidate, not a human-reviewed article. Search publication requires an explicit human approval record bound to the current content. A missing approval, or any content change after approval, fails closed to noindex and sitemap exclusion.

Candidate count is not publication count. Only an article with a current, content-matched record in the human approval registry can enter search and a sitemap.
Publication states
- Archived or under review: the source may be retained, but the page is not submitted to search and is excluded from sitemaps.
- Automated candidate: basic machine checks passed; accuracy and safety have not necessarily been reviewed by a person.
- Human approved: only content with documented language, product-truth, evidence, and safety checks plus a content-bound approval record may be search-published.
- Merge or redirect: used only after a person confirms equivalent intent and verifies the destination.
Sources and wellbeing information
- Factual sleep or wellbeing claims require an appropriate primary, public, or authoritative source.
- We do not invent people, credentials, experiences, testimonials, quotations, sources, or review dates. Unverifiable claims are removed or withheld.
- Published material is general information, not diagnosis, treatment, medical care, therapy, or emergency support.
AI and automation boundary
- Automation may assist with classification, duplicate detection, link checks, metadata checks, and prohibited-term screening.
- Automated or AI assistance is not human approval, professional review, or fact-checking.
- Legacy drafts that may have involved AI remain outside search until they pass the same human approval gate.
Promotion, holds, and corrections
- Pages containing unrelated travel or affiliate promotion, tracking links, or misleading sales language are demoted and may have their bodies withheld.
- A page with a material accuracy or safety issue can be returned to noindex immediately, regardless of traffic.
- The correction channel and its current availability are stated on the editorial status page.
